BIOGRAPHY
I've been creating art since the age of 8, when I entered my grade school art show. I was thrilled to see my artwork hanging on the wall with an Honorable Mention ribbon hanging on it. I was hooked and have expanded my mediums to include pastels, acrylics, oils, and watercolors. The latter being my preferred medium until I happened upon Colored Pencil in March 2019.

I was amazed at how creating a piece of art was done with so many different layers and when blended with a solvent it produced a whole new intensity of colors. I love recreating old rusty equipment, machinery, vehicles, etc. but also scenery, animals, and portraits.

My plans for the future are to expand my knowledge of colored pencils and to keep pushing boundaries. I am part of the Colored Pencil Society of America, All Things Colored Pencils, Colored Pencils Tips and Resources, Colored Pencil Pushers, , Colored Pencil Corner groups Bonny Snowdon Academy.

In April 2022, I had the pleasure of having one of my colored pencil drawings, We Need More Joy, accepted into the CP Hidden Treasures vol.7 magazine. It was such an honor to be included into such a fabulous publishing along with so many amazing artist.

July 2022, I'm honored to say that I'll have my colored pencil piece, Dilapidated,
published in the COLOR magazine, by Ann Kullberg.
